We’ve arrived!
Stepping down from the cool train carriage in Agde, the hot, heavy air hit us immediately: smelling of pine and the salty Mediterranean. After 8 hours by train from London, Kala and I had reached the market town just 6km from our destination.
We’d been anticipating this place for months, excited to feel our naked bodies drenched in sunshine and to taste the freedom of life on the Cap.
We met our driver outside the station and after 15 mins of friendly chat he dropped us just outside our accommodation. The naturist village entrance rose before us, unassuming, mundane, almost comical: this ordinary gate led to extraordinary things.
This was our second visit, but our first time staying in the resort, though just outside the naturist village itself. We wanted to build on the daytime adventures we enjoyed last summer – and to experience the nocturnal delights too.
Who We Are
We’re Kala and Kai. We love sex, we love travel and combining them is where we thrive. Whether it’s a night out at a spicy private club or an international holiday in a naturist resort – we’re there.
What we love is watching others and being watched: simultaneously voyeurs and exhibitionists.
This blog is about that combination: travel and sex in public spaces, always respecting local laws and the enthusiastic consent of those around us. With this set of 3 posts, we plan to show you what an incredible place the Cap is, and how easy it is to experience a unique holiday on the Mediterranean coastline.
We’re not traditional swingers — swapping isn’t our thing. We play together as a couple. What we love is watching others and being watched: simultaneously voyeurs and exhibitionists. Playing in public, surrounded by others having similar fun, is arousing for us both. Over time we’ve come to realise we’re firmly in the lifestyle.
The High-Speed Transition South
Last year we enjoyed a week’s summer holiday on France’s south coast. For environmental reasons we travelled by train, so we booked Sète, a Mediterranean port, directly connected by TGV to Paris. We didn’t realise until we arrived how close we’d be to Cap d’Agde – a place we’d heard whispers of in sex-positive circles but never seriously considered.
Cap d’Agde contains a large conventional resort alongside the enclosed naturist village to the east. The village is widely known as a swinger-friendly hub where adults enjoy sex openly in public and private with like-minded people.
During that first week in Sète, we spent three days visiting the beach at the Cap, getting to know the town and enjoying the naturism. But staying a 30-minute drive up the coast meant the evening culture remained a mystery. So, we decided to come back!
This year we planned a 5-day trip, including a day’s journey at each end. We love travelling by rail: as well as being greener, it’s more interesting, fun and relaxing. We saw loads of French countryside and had a clear transition day between “home & work” and “holiday”.
On our journey in July 2025, we walked between Gare du Nord and Gare de Lyon, both outbound and return, which was very enjoyable. It was less hot then: I’m glad we hadn’t planned to walk during the 45°C heatwave this year! On the journey home in 2025, connections allowed an extra hour for a delicious café lunch on our walking route.
Leaving Paris this year we had a southbound journey to cover approx. 500 miles. It was busy but fast. It was also chill enough in the comfy carriage, despite the heatwave outside.
On the TGV, Kala squeezed my hand as we sat on neighbouring seats. Not because there was anything wrong – just because we both knew what waited for us at the end of the line. We’d done Eurostar, then the Paris Metro, this was the last leg … but we’d been carrying that hunger since booking the ticket last year.
Cap accommodation caters for all budgets: huge campsite, self-catering apartments, hotels of every standard. There’s something for every body, so long as that body likes to be naked!
We’d decided walking into the village everyday would be fine. It turned out our development has a back gate cutting 10–15 mins off the walk – even better than we’d imagined!

The Evening Walk of Fame
Once you’ve purchased your naturist village pass, flash it at the gate, walk or drive through, and you’re in. Then you can strip off anywhere beyond the entrance – and people do, enjoying being naked all the time they’re there!
Evenings see people parading around in their sexiest outfits. We discovered it’s worth getting a good seat on a Friday evening to watch the walk of fame. People wander in pairs and groups along Avenue de la Joliette, past the marina and back. Elderly couples holding hands, young adults laughing, bodies of all ages confident and unashamed.
What’s magical here is the lack of judgement. No-one worries about weight, fitness, skin colour or stereotypical attractiveness. All genders, sexualities, ethnicities are welcome. Enjoying baring their flesh and showing off in their sexy finery. We feel more relaxed, less self-conscious than usual.
We spent the evening in town: La Pilouterie for drinks, chatting with people we met, then the Sushi bar next door for dinner. Watched gorgeous people in amazing outfits pass by while we ate.
First Night at Club Balnéo
Later we visited Club Balnéo, the sauna club with play spaces for adult couples. We had approached the door and paused outside, considering whether to enter. As we discussed it quietly, a couple came out looking very satisfied, so we asked them what it was like. They strongly recommended it, saying it was clean, smart and well designed, aimed only at couples and that they had had lots of fun there. So, we took the plunge.
We entered, paid the entry fee and undressed completely, leaving our things in the changing room locker. We walked through to the bar area – attractively lit, recently furnished, staffed by one guy in a cute outfit.
The crowd inside Club Balnéo skewed older and established: mostly couples between 40 and 65, with an average age sitting comfortably around 50 to 55.
We saw the sauna area but there was no-one inside the small, heated glass and wood cube. With blistering weather outside, who wants a sauna? The jacuzzi next door held 6–8 people chatting, laughing. We were not attracted by that either.
The next room had a stage at one end, opposite a long, padded surface with 8–10 couples lying in pairs. Sweet to see a couple having fun showing off behind the bars, both watched and ignored by those on the ‘audience’ area. We weren’t drawn to this room, so walked on. Then we found our place!
We entered a larger, darker playroom, TV screen on left wall showing porn, plenty of space for the dozen or so couples playing, individually and together. A walkway along the left side, door at far end into the Histoires d’O (non-couples) side. We decided not to go through – happier as we are being naked and sexy around couples rather than single men.
In the middle was a huge ‘bed’ area: a soft surface with lots of cushions, a podium, a basket with condoms and lube and walls covered in mirrors. A couple of doors behind led to smaller unoccupied playrooms, with smaller cushioned beds under mirrored walls where people watched and played together.
We found a spot along the back wall facing the TV, among 6–7 couples on the main ‘bed’. We settled in to play and watch, having fun, observing lots of sex happening wherever we looked. The porn didn’t distract – it was a turn-on to have it running while we played.
Surrounded by this raw, uninhibited energy, we were both soon climaxing, savouring the views and letting our voices loose to announce our ecstasy.
Interestingly, couples who were arriving at different times interacted directly on a purely physical level, seemingly without words, before introducing themselves verbally later, post-orgasm as new, firm friends. A surprise: we also witnessed a couple arriving together and immediately splitting apart to engage with people who were already playing with each other’s bodies.
Groups of 2, 3, 4, more, all getting sexual in various combinations: manual, oral, penetrative play and mutual masturbation everywhere.
Surrounded by this raw, uninhibited energy, we were both soon climaxing, savouring the views and letting our voices loose to announce our ecstasy. Afterwards, we were in no rush to leave. We took our time, soaking up the sights and sounds, registering how lucky we were.
When complete, we slowly got ourselves together, stepped carefully off the cushioned area between numerous limbs and torsos, making our way to reception to dress and leave.
Club Balnéo was just the starter. But if the sauna taught us anything, it was this: the Cap doesn’t give you everything at once. You have to earn the deeper access.
Tomorrow: the fray. Saturday: denial and the pool party. If you thought tonight was intense, wait until you see what happens when observers become performers on sand, or when desire spills from a beach canopy into public view.
We’re going to show you exactly what that feels like. But first, let’s take you to the beach.
